About

My name is Liz Kardamis and I am a licensed professional counselor and licensed professional art therapist (LPC, LPAT) with over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and adults in mental health and wellness settings. My work integrates art therapy, mindful movement, and trauma-informed counseling to help people reconnect with their bodies, express their inner experiences, and develop meaningful tools for healing and resilience. My clinical background includes working in inpatient psychiatric and medical settings with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. Throughout my career, I have facilitated both individual and group therapy, using creative expression and experiential approaches to help clients access insight, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.Alongside my clinical work, I am a certified yoga instructor trained in trauma-conscious and accessible yoga. I have taught mindfulness, breathwork, and movement practices to children, adolescents, and adults in schools, studios, and private sessions. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how the body holds stress and how gentle, intentional movement can support nervous system regulation and emotional healing.Today, I bring these paths together in my practice—blending art therapy, mindful movement, and compassionate counseling in a collaborative and supportive environment. My intention is to create a safe space where creativity, curiosity, and body awareness can help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and move toward greater balance and well-being.
